چکیده

Despite numerous methods to optimise their operation and parameters, anilox rolls are subject rapid wear during use due improper cleaning processes. Therefore, regular diagnosis is needed. In this study, X-ray fluorescence (XRF) analysis based on Fe Cr was used determine the elemental compositions of raster cylinder coatings. Due layered composition roll, where Cr2O3 coating applied iron core, evaluation roll surface can be detection damage. A portable XRF apparatus identify selected elements even at low concentrations <1%. work, it proved that a preliminary, method for assessing technical condition an cylinder. The technique safely in non-destructive chemical analyses rollers’ flexographic printing technology, information aids may routinely obtained, thus enabling high-quality printing. This pioneering study which spectroscopy successfully assessment.

X-ray Absorption Spectroscopy Using X–ray Fluorescence Spectrometer

Strong characteristic Kα X-ray lines are accompanied by weak lines due to the radiative Auger effect (RAE) [1, 2]. The characteristic Kα fluorescent X-rays (K-L2,3 lines) are emitted by the 2p→1s electric dipole transition after one of the 1s electron photoionization, Though the probability is less than 0.01, one of the 2p electrons is excited into an unoccupied discrete or continuum level simu...

Non-destructive Measurement of Calcium and Potassium in Apple and Pear Using Handheld X-ray Fluorescence

Calcium and potassium are essential for cell signaling, ion homeostasis and cell wall strength in plants. Unlike nutrients such as nitrogen and potassium, calcium is immobile in plants. Localized calcium deficiencies result in agricultural losses; particularly for fleshy horticultural crops in which elemental imbalances in fruit contribute to the development of physiological disorders such as b...

Nondestructive Elemental Analysis of Wood Biodeterioration Using Electron Paramagnetic Resonance and Synchrotrons X-ray Fluorescence

Over the last few years we have developed nondestructive methods for the elemental analysis of wood during biodeterioration by fungi. In this paper we review progress made in our laboratories on the multi-element analysis of wood using electron paramagnetic resonance spectroscopy and synchrotron-generated X-ray spectroscopy. The non-intrusive sample preparation and the nondestructive methods ha...

Analysis of the elemental concentrations in rat femur's head using energy dispersive X ray fluorescence spectrometry

EDXRF spectrometry is used normally to determine the concentration of the different elements in a sample with advantages of good sensitivity, multielemental capabilities, fast, non-destructive and because of this simple relation to the fundamental physics of atom-radiation interaction, make of EDXRF a highly attractive analytical technique. A major goal for research in biomedical sciences over ...

Elemental Analysis of Bone, Teeth, Horn and Antler in Different Animal Species Using Non-Invasive Handheld X-Ray Fluorescence

Mineralized tissues accumulate elements that play crucial roles in animal health. Although elemental content of bone, blood and teeth of human and some animal species have been characterized, data for many others are lacking, as well as species comparisons. Here we describe the distribution of elements in horn (Bovidae), antler (Cervidae), teeth and bone (humerus) across a number of species det...
